Greetings from THE CHAPTER.

We initiated our “MU Pledge Class last spring”, they are young leaders in our fraternity at the moment.

Fall 2022 rush went well as we handed out bids to a strong NU class, we are looking forward to what the future brings for this class.

The WV Alpha chapter won two awards at the Center for Fraternal Values and Leadership awards banquet. We won Excellence in Social Media and the Arista Cup.

The Arista Cup is the highest award that any fraternity or sorority can win for chapter excellence.

In terms of chapter activities on campus, WV Alpha also participated in many sorority charity games coming in first place in Kappa Kappa Gamma's 'Hoops for Huggins'
basketball tournament and Sigma Kappa's 'Sigma Sluggers' softball tournament.

We also held a couple successful Philanthropy events. We had our annual Queens of the Beach, which is a sand volleyball tournament at the house between all of the sororities.

We raised over $1,500 for the Boys and Girls club of America. We also had a canned food drive, where every sorority competed to see who could collect the most canned food.

We donated a truck full to the Salvation Army in Morgantown. In the next couple weeks we are having a joint Philanthropy event with Kappa Kappa Gamma where we will be raising money from a car wash in Morgantown.

It was sad to see our seniors graduate last year, but they have a bright future as many are in law school, dental school and med school. We also had many seniors accept great jobs all over the country. WV Alpha will be holding elections for our next executive board in December, where we will have new leaders step up and continue our campus wide success.

Live Ever. Die Never.
